Collège de l’Île
College de I’lle, previously known to many as College Acadie Ile du Prince Edward, is a post-secondary community college. Located in the Prince Edward Island, the college has its headquarters in the community of Wellington. The college served to Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island, but as the operations of Nova Scotia were given under the command of Universite Sainte-Anne, it was renamed College de I’lle.

Holland College is another provincial community college in Prince Edward Island. The name of this institute comes from a British army engineer, Captain Samuel Holland. Authorities at PEI started this institute back in 1969 because of the education reform policy introduced under the PEI Comprehensive Development Plan which led to the abandonment and closure of two institutes.
